So for a replacement I was thinking in putting up an SSD, because now I'm scared about the reliability of the HDD again, so what recommendations do you guys have? AFAIK the process of re-installing the OS isn't that big of a hassle on the One S and so far my options for now are a 480gb SSD (Kingston) and a 512gb SSD (Crucial), but I'm not sure about the beneficts of the SSD aside of reliability and loading times, also I'm not entirely sure about how much space will the OS take from a 480gb SSD vs 512gbĪnd before anyone suggests, no, I will not sell the console for a Series S, I rely a lot in physical games so that is out of the question. So here is the deal, I was constantly having the "troubleshoot" screen when I turned on my Xbox One S (500gb model), reading through the internet I discovered that the main reason could be a faulty HDD, and well when I took off the HDD and did a full analysis through Seatools I got an error, and in fact it could not even finish the analysis, so yeah that explained a lot, also why I was sure game were being transfer at a slower speed than usual The views of the moderation team do not reflect the view of Microsoft or its subsidiaries.
